You can earn or buy equus in many ways. You use Equus to buy items, horses or other things. To earn Equus, here are some ways:
- Auction off a horse or place a horse in the Private Sales.
- Credit your account with passes. (You can get up to 4,000e with 1 pass each.)
- Sell items in your inventory such as food/fruits, equipments/tacks, aging points, and droppings.
- Enter your horse in competitions
- Get a job (Groom, Vet, Horse Riding Instructor, Blacksmith and Saddler)
- Put a horse in the Safe Haven for 400e
- Pet a horse in the Safe Haven for money or other items (You may sell the item given)
- Sell your Black market items (Advertise on your page what you are selling and how much. You will then gift the item for the money)
- Achievements/Objects can earn you equus or items (You may sell the item given)
- Do lessons with the horse (Depending on the EC; the better the EC, the more money you earn from lessons.)
- When you complete Riding Level 10, you can do 3 lessons a day, the third lesson will be 20e.
- Coverings; you can buy or breed (and train) a Male horse (Stallion) and offer coverings from age 2 Years and 6 Month and higher.
- Contests; Official or Unofficial, Howrse may host contests where you can win a Divine/Special/Horse, money or Black Market item which you can sell. Players also host contests to win various prizes such as a Horse/Divine/Special, Money, Black market items, or other items. But be careful with player's contest as they might scam you.
